Scott Porter, Mr. Porter graduated from the University of Maine at Orono with a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology in 1984. In 2000 he earned a degree from the University of Maine in Educational Leadership and in 2008 he graduated from the University of Maine with a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Leadership. Mr. Porter is married and has three children. He resides on Gardner Lake in Whiting_ |

Mary Maker, Mrs. Maker obtained a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Special Education from the University of Maine at Farmington in 1988 and graduated from the University of Maine in 2002 with a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership. Mrs. Maker is married and has two children. She and her family reside in Marshfield. |

Ken Johnson, A.O.S. 96 Curriculum CoordinatorMr. Johnson has served the Machias School System since 1996 when he began his career as a history and government teacher at Machias Memorial High School. After serving seven years in the classroom as a teacher and boys basketball coach, Mr. Johnson accepted the position of Curriculum Coordinator and moved to the central office in 2003. Mr. Johnson continues to serve in that capacity on behalf of all schools in A.O.S. #96. Along with his duties as Curriculum Coordinator, Mr. Johnson also serves as the Principal for Wesley Elementary School Mr. Johnson earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of Maine in 1992 and a Master's Degree in History, 1993. In 2002, Mr. Johnson was awarded a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Leadership also from the University of Maine. Mr. Johnson and his wife, Michele, are both proud graduates of Machias Memorial High School and reside with their family in Marshfield. |

Carolyn Willey, A.O.S. Business Manager Carolyn graduated from the University of Maine at Machias in 1993 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Accounting. She has worked as a Business Manager for M.S.A.D. #77, Washington Academy, and AOS 96 (Machias Bay Area School System) since graduation. Carolyn resides in East Machias with her husband. |

Amanda Sprague, A.O.S. 96 Bookeeper
Amanda Sprague graduated from University of Maine at Machias with a Bachelor's Degree in Science. She has been employed as a bookkeeper for five years and has been at A.O.S. 96 Central Office since September 2012. Mrs. Sprague currently resides in Machiasport with her husband.

Donna Michaud, A.O.S. 96 Special Services Secretary Mrs. Michaud is a native of Washington County and resides in Machiasport with her family. She is also a regular contributor to the Downeast Coastal Press, a local weekly newspaper and enjoys writing and photography. |

Carol Geel , A.O.S. 96 Bookeeper Carol Geel resides in Jonesboro with her husband. They have three grown daughters and two grandsons. She worked previously at Hannaford Bros. for 26 years and at the Rose M. Gaffney School for the last 13 years. Mrs. Geel has been employed as a bookkeeper for AOS 96 since July 2012

Lisa Urqhart, A.O.S. 96 Secretary Lisa Urquhart resides in Roque Bluffs with her husband and three children. Mrs. Urquhart worked as an Educational Technician for Rose M. Gaffney School and Machias Memorial High School for 7 years. She has been the Secretary at the AOS 96 central office since 2007.
